Siskiyou Association Member Chris Kutzkey (Broker of Coldwell Banker, Chris Kutzkey Realtors, Yreka) has been elected to the office of Treasurer for California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.), the Statewide Association affiliated with National Association of Realtors. As Treasurer of C.A.R., Chris will chair the State Association's Strategic Planning & Finance Committee in 2012. Chris Kutzkey was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area and moved to Yreka in 1975 where she has been a Realtor for 35 years. Chris worked her way up through the ranks of local, regional and statewide leadership, serving on many Committees and in Board of Directors positions. Her record of experience and leadership in the rural market of Siskiyou County, including her time as Chair of CAR Region 2, made her an ideal candidate to represent the rural regions in the North State. Siskiyou Association of Realtors congratulates Chris for her achievement and wishes her success in her position as C.A.R. Treasurer.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Siskiyou Association of REALTORS is to develop, promote and provide programs and services which enhance member's abilities to conduct their business ethically and competently, adhering to the REALTORS Code of Ethics; to encourage cooperation among members; to be the voice of real estate through its advocacy of private property rights and issues that most affect our community. Also, to help our members provide our clients and the community with accurate information to make informed decisions regarding Siskiyou County real estate.
Statement of Purpose
What is a Realtor?
We are the local Association of Realtors in Siskiyou County, as a Member organization of California Association of Realtors (Los Angeles, CA) and National Association of Realtors (Chicago, IL). Our members are experienced in residential real estate, commercial real estate, property management and appraisal services, as well ‘affiliate’ members, to include loan brokers, title companies other affiliated companies. S.A.R. is committed to provide exceptional service and give benefit to our Members.
Members have agreed in writing to adhere to the standards as described in the ‘Code of Ethics’, as set forth by the National Association of Realtors. Realtors have constant access to information about the RE industry thru the local Association, CAR and NAR. The Association owns and copyrights the listing information and sales of Siskiyou County properties.
Siskiyou Association of Realtors strives to be effective and influential in the communities in which we serve. We give back where we work and live. We care.
